A day in the clinic
Five minutes to open, five minutes to close, and what happens in between.
Three columns: Open the day (read Home, confirm Pending, reply to Messages, check online bookings, read the low-stock banner); Through the day (Arrived, Seat, record work, bill, HMO claim, book next visit); Close the day (unbilled list empty, count cash, nobody left Arrived, look at tomorrow, reorder).
The front desk owns the two ends of the day. In the morning: read Home, confirm everyone still Pending, clear Messages, look at the online bookings that arrived overnight, and note the low-stock banner. In the evening: make sure Work done, not yet billed on Billing is empty, count the drawer against Collected today, check nobody is left as Arrived or In chair, and glance at tomorrow.
The two step-by-step guides are Open the day and Close the day.
